20-member vice ring busted in Abu Dhabi

Police in Abu Dhabi’s western region arrested 20 Chinese and Bangladeshi people on charges of indulging in vice, press reports said on Wednesday.

Police said they seized seven Chinese and 13 Bangladeshi during a raid on a house in the western town of Gayathi.

The 20 were to be tried on Tuesday but hearings were postponed to February 20 to allow the defendants to have lawyers. It was not clear if all the defendants were men.
