A criminal court in Abu Dhabi sentenced a housemaid to three months in prison and ordered her deportation after she was convicted of stealing her employers’ camera, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The housewife had reported to the police that the maid stole her camera and used family pictures in it to publicise them on Facebook.
“The court found the maid guilty in theft but acquitted her from charges of publicizing the family pictures,” Alkhaleej daily said.
