3 RAK restaurants fined for serving stale food
Ras Al Khaimah authorities fined three restaurants caught serving stale food to the customers, a newspaper said on Friday.
The Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said inspectors from the RAK municipality caught the restaurants in different areas serving stale food while claiming it is fresh.
“This is a type of fraud and cheating…it violates health rules in the emirate,” a municipality official said without specifying the penalties.
