50kg of dope gets dealer 10 years in RAK jail

A Ras Al Khaimah court sentenced an Arab man  to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of possessing nearly 50kg of narcotics.

The court also fined him 50,000 and ordered the confiscation of a car seized by policemen while storming the place.

Police arrested the unnamed defendant while he was picking up a bagful of drugs in a deserted place on a motorway outside the emirate.
