8-year old says he was molested at home by furniture deliveryman

A 44-year-old Indian supervisor AAB is accused of molesting an eight-year old Briton student in his house, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The victim HWA, testified that the accused 'misbehaved' with him while the worker was in his room.

The victim’s 45-year old father, AD, testified that on September 26, 2011, at around 6pm he received furniture he had bought for his house in Mirdiff area.

“Six workers unloaded the furniture into his house. As they finished my wife told me that our son was molested by one of them. I asked my son, who told me that the worker was in his room fixing furniture and he was watching him.

He carried him by holding him from between his legs and then put him down to the floor telling him 'you are very heavy'. The worker then repeated the same gesture twice and the third time he rubbed his private part,” he testified.

Confronting the workers with the incident they have all denied molesting the boy. The father called the police and logged a complaint. The workers also denied the incident but the boy pointed at the doer.

The court adjourned the case for verdict until February 14.
