Abu Dhabi customs prevents smuggling racket

Al Ghuwaifat customs in Abu Dhabi announced that they recently prevented the smuggling of 7,440 bottles of liquor outside of the country.

Inspectors grew suspicious of one of the trucks, so they had it X-rayed and discovered it had hidden chambers that were carved into the truck in a professional manner.

Therefore, they had the truck further inspected and discovered the large amount of spirits.

The truck driver was detained and has been referred to authorities.
