African drug dealers get 15 years in Abu Dhabi

An Abu Dhabi court sentenced two African men to 15 years in prison after they were convicted in smuggling 80 heroin capsules in their stomachs.

The two had arrived at Abu Dhabi as transit passengers from Brazil on their way to Nigeria when they were seized with the drugs.

The court also fined them Dh50,000 each and ordered their deportation from the UAE.
