Asian couple tried to kill Emirati businessman with arrows

A 65-year-old man and a businesswoman, 54, tried to kill an Emirati man in Ras Al Khaimah with guns and arrows but the man escaped unhurt.

Police had arrested the couple, both Asians, after the local man reported that they tried to murder him at his farm following a business dispute.

The judge trying the couple on Wednesday adjourned hearings to another session to listen to more witnesses to the incident.

“The two are facing charges of trying to kill the Emirati, using guns and arrows…their attempt failed and the Emirati managed to escape,” Alkhaleej daily said.
