A security guard is accused of stabbing a Filipina 66 times in her stomach, chest, back and neck for kicking his bucket and shouting at him, the Dubai Court of First Instance heard.

Police received a report on February 18 of a body in pool of blood in International City, England Cluster.

The body was discovered by her Indian boyfriend, a 38-year-old sales manager. He said they had been living together in the studio apartment for more than one year.

On February 18, he went to work at around 7.30am, but spoke to the victim LS over phone at around 1pm about house errands.

"At around 5.30pm, I left office and headed to Dragon Mart to pay internet bill. I reached home at around 7.30pm and saw the door open and noticed a pool of water and blood at the entrance.

"I called her but there was no answer. I stepped into the flat and saw her in a pool of blood with face down on the floor. A fish pot was broken and a knife was on a table. As she did not respond to me, I called the police," testified the boyfriend.

Police officer and ambulance rushed to the scene and the woman was reported dead.

Officers accompanied by the security guard questioned neighbours. The CCTV footage also did not show anything suspicious.

The guard helped police interview tenants and during the investigation a police officer noticed scratches on the guard's face and arm.

The 24-year-old Pakistani guard KA, claimed that he cut himself while shaving.

There was also a cut on one of his fingers and eyebrow.

Although the guard behaved normally, and helped the police in investigation, KA was under suspicion.

Two days after the crime he was arrested and was confronted with the crime.

Police found out that the suspect has injury mark on his knee as well.

During the interrogations, he initially denied the charges, then confessed that he killed her in revenge because she screamed at him and kicked a water bucket he was using to clean the corridor in the same floor of her studio.

"I was cleaning the corridor of the floor when she got out and kicked the bucket shouting at me in a language I didn't understand.

"After I finished my work, I went to my room on the roof but was very upset with what had happened, so I decided to kill her," testified the accused.

He put on gloves, took a small knife and a screwdriver. He knocked on the woman's door and told her he needed to check the apartment's alarm system.

She opened the door but asked him to wait outside till she spoke with her boyfriend. But taking her by surprise, the accused got into the house and locked the door.

He stabbed her in the belly and in the chest. The knife broke inside her body and she fell on the floor. He then tried to stab her with the screwdriver but she resisted and scratched his face.

She got up and rushed to the window shouting for help. But KA got another knife and stabbed her from the back several times until she fell on the floor.

When he saw that LS was still alive, he grabbed a fish bowl and hit it on her head.

He then washed the blood stains on his clothes and put on a coat from the bedroom. He also stole some money and left the house with the door ajar.

He then charged to fresh clothes and disposed everything in the garbage bin. He hid his shoes under a water tank and the money behind a sewerage pipe.

Police retrieved the money and confiscated the screwdriver, his dress and shoes.

He has been charged with premeditated murder and theft. He denied the murder charge in court and claimed he did not intend to kill her.

According to records the accused started working in the building one week before the crime and that he did not have any problem with the victim and her boyfriend.
