Asian man found hanging from a fan in Sharjah

An Asian national was found hanging from a fan in Sharjah earlier this week.

The 59-year-old man was discovered in his residence in Sharjah Industrial Area 1.

The cause of death is still being investigated by Sharjah Police, as reported in Al Bayan newspaper, with suicide also not ruled out as yet.
 
According to witnesses, the deceased was found hanging in front of the bathroom door with a piece of cloth wrapped around his neck and tied to the column of the fan.
