Asian, two girls jailed on vice charges

A court in Fujairah sentenced an Asian man to a year in prison and ordered his deportation from the UAE after he was convicted of running a vice den.

The court sentenced two other Asian women to three years in jail and ordered them deported for involvement in prostitution.

The police arrested the taxi driver and the two women after receiving a report they were practicing prostitution at the driver’s house.

Another Asian man arrested for complicity was acquitted by the court.
