The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced three Bangladeshis and a fugitives to three months in jail involved in two separate cases for organizing gambling games.
The three identified as HRS, MRT and MSM will be deported after serving their jail term.
On August 14 the police got a tip off about the accused MSM for organizing gambling game in public in Al Nakheel area, Omar Bin Al Khattab street.
“In a narrow rout we saw a man standing in front of an iron table and has a lantern with a crowd of people surrounding him while he was gambling, “ testified the police.
Police arrested the accused MSM and confiscated Dh500 with him.
The accused has also confessed to organizing gambling.
In the second case two jobless, HRS, 25 and MRT, 26, with fugitives organized a gambling game near Dubai Municipality accommodations.
The accused used a belt and a screw driver in their gambling game.
Policeman Faraj Darwish from Rashidiya Police Station testified that while he was patrolling, he received information from the Operation Room about Asians gambling.
