Blind man held for forgery in Fujairah

Fujairah police arrested a blind Emirati and his Asian ex-wife on charges of forging a marriage contract to allow the woman to have free treatment at a local  hospital.

A hospital employee reported the couple to the police after he found that the marriage certificate they produced was forged.

Police investigation showed that the man had divorced his wife and that the two were involved in the issuance of a forged certificate showing they were still married.
