Cables worth Dh130,000 robbed in Sharjah

Sharjah Police has arrested a gang of Asian nationals for assault and robbery.

Police said it has received a complaint from contracting company that some people had attacked guards of their warehouse, tied them up and robbed electric cables and copper pipes worth about Dh130,000.

Police identified the culprits and arrested them though they resisted arrest.

Sharjah Police urged warehouses to install CCTV cameras to improve their security.
