Car burglar nabbed in Ajman

An Arab man smashed the windshield of a car parked near a shopping mall in Ajman and stole Dh29,000 an Asian woman had just withdrawn from the bank. A few hours later, he was arrested by the police.

The woman had just taken the money out of her bank and gone for shopping, leaving the bag containing the money in the car.

When she returned to the car, she found that the glass was smashed and the bag had vanished, according to Al Bayan daily.

Police later arrested the thief and an accomplice and both confessed to the crime, they said.
