Child accidentally crushed by car driven by relative

A 2.5-year-old Emirati boy was crushed under a car driven by his relative after jumping in front of the vehicle just outside their house in the oasis eastern town of Al Ain.

The man has just started the car and drove out of the house parking when the child ran past the vehicle on Wednesday, Alkhaleej newspaper said.

“He knocked him over as he did not notice him…the boy was rushed to hospital but was dead on arrival,” the paper said.
