Fujairah authorities seized children toys shaped like a cigarette box in the local market on the grounds they violate marketing laws and commercial standards.
Inspectors from the municipality in the eastern emirate were on a routine visit to the market when they found the toys in the form of a famous cigarette box brand.
"All those toys were confiscated as they violate commercial laws and pose a threat to the behavior of our children,” said Abdullah al Yamahi, director of the legal affairs at the Fujairah Municipality.
11-month-old baby raped by dad
A 11-month-old baby girl was allegedly raped by her own father in Morocco, according to Al Jarima website.
The incident came to light when the toddler’s mother saw the little one bleeding and filed a police complaint.
The baby is admitted to Beni Mellal hospital in critical condition.
The suspect allegedly committed the crime in an inebriated state.
The 34-year-old man has been arrested and referred to Prosecution
