Two men in a car stalking a victim in a quiet area in Kuwait thought it was their lucky day when an Asian housemaid popped out of a house and headed for the nearby shop. One of them got out and pushed her into the car.

“They took her to a deserted area and took turns in raping her. They then left her and drove away,” the Kuwaiti daily Alwatan said.

Thieves electrocute victims before stealing

Police arrested two men who used electrocution to paralyze their victims before robbing them. One of the victims outwitted them and pushed them into police trap.

The two, including a jobless man from another Gulf country, stopped a wall painter in Dubai and asked for his ID papers after posing as police men.

When he produced his passport copy, they used a machine to electrocute him before taking his purse which contained Dh370.

“He begged them to return the money, saying he is a poor man who is supporting a family…but they used electricity on him again,” Alkhaleej daily said.

It said the two were caught when they robbed another man, a cleaner, in the same area.

“After taking his Dh250, they gave him Dh20 and asked him to go and buy them cigarettes and beverage from the nearby shop…..instead of going to the shop, the cleaner phoned the police,” it said.

After receiving a tip-off, police raided their apartment and searched the TV set, where they found nearly 632 gm of heroin.

“They denied knowledge of the drugs…they said the TV seller placed the heroin inside the set,” Alkhaleej daily said.
