Cyclist killed after hit by car in RAK

An Asian construction worker was killed and his mate serious injured after their motorcycle was hit by a car moving behind them in Ras Al Khaimah.

Police blamed the car driver for the accident as he was too close to the motorcycle on Khat Road in the northern emirate.

The car crashed into the motorcycle just as it tried to turn left, killing its 37-year-old rider immediately and seriously injuring his friend, 24 Emirat Alyoum Arabic language daily said.
