Drug dealer sentenced to death in Abu Dhabi

A court in Abu Dhabi sentenced an Asian man to death after he was convicted of trying to smuggle 2.7 kg of heroin and other drugs.

Police arrested the unnamed dealer at Abu Dhabi airport after customs found the stuff in his baggage, according to local newspapers.

In court, the man insisted the drugs do not belong to him but to another man, who stuffed in his bag in his home country.
