Dubai burglars fail to break safe, flee

A Bangladesh national, with help from an absconder accomplice, allegedly broke into the office of a company but fled the place after they failed to break the safe, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

Finger prints lifted from the scene matched those of MY, 33, and MA, absconder. Searching for them, police found that the two were detained by Sharjah police in a similar theft case.

Questioning them, the two admitted to breaking into the company at night on May 10. They said they left the scene because they could not break the safe box.

The records did not mention how MA,one of the accused who had been questioned by Dubai Police, could run away.

The Court will issue its verdict on January 29.
