Dubai cops arrest men for bank heist

Dubai Police arrested three Asian men two weeks after they stabbed another Asian and robbed him of nearly Dh150,000, the press reported on Sunday.

Police had hunted for the three since they attacked another victim nearly four months ago although the operated failed.

In the second attempt, the three assaulted an Asian man just after he stepped out of a bank in Al Qusais and stabbed him before making away with Dh150,000.

Police said they identified the three robbers on the basis of descriptions provided by witnesses who were in the area at the time of the daring noon robbery.
