Dubai Traffic Police have arrested a person who is accused of committing 24 serious traffic offences within 15 minutes, Emarat Al Youm has reported.
Dubai Police’s Traffic Patrol also arrested a woman for repeatedly driving in an aggressive manner.
A total of 512 vehicles have been seized by Dubai Police’s Traffic Patrols after their drivers committed serious violations within two weeks.
Major General Khamis Mattar Al Muzeina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, told Emarat Al Youm that the police formed specialised teams to monitor reckless drivers who represent a danger to other road users.
He added that such offences included driving dangerously, racing on public roads and vehicles illegally modified by owners.
