Dubai Police nabs young seller of heroin

The Dubai Criminal Court has adjourned to April 26 the case of a 22-year-old Pakistani identified as Nasirullah Khan who was caught selling heroin.

The accused was arrested on charges of selling 50.36 grammes of heroin.

The anti-narcotics department of Dubai Police had received reliable information that a Pakistani identified as Amjad Khan was looking for a buyer.

Amjad Khan was out the UAE and had left the heroin with a person named Nasirullah Khan.

The police contacted with the accused outside the UAE and agreed with him on the purchase a quantity of heroin for Dh51,000.

The police offered to buy a small quantity for quality check before offering to buy more.

Based on this agreement, the accused outside the UAE assigned Nasirullah Khan to hand over the sample.

The delivery of heroin was made in Ghusais and the accused was given currency notes numbered and photographed by police in advance as evidence.

The suspect admitted to police that he was assigned by the accused outside the UAE to deliver the sample and receive payment. He intended to sell the remaining quantity after receiving calls with new instructions.
