Dubai seizes over 1,500 smuggled knives

Dubai customs authorities seized more than 1,500 knives and a large number of pistol pods which were smuggled through Jebel Ali port.

Customs personnel suspecting the two shipments found the illegal items which the importing company had said they included only sport products.

The shipments included 1,520 knives, 30 swords, 200 pistol pods, 100 gun cleaning items and other illegal products.
