Emirati baby killed by car at doorstep in Fujairah

An Emirati girl aged under one year was killed when she was run over by a car just in front of her house in Fujeirah, a newspaper said on Sunday.

Hoor was found alive near her house’s door by the housemaid who was returning home from the shop in the evening last week, Alkhaleej said.

The child was rushed to hospital but doctors failed to save her life, the Arabic language daily said, quoting police.

It said police are investigating the accident near the house on Al Sharqi road to identify the car and capture the driver, who apparently fled the scene.
