A 32-year old Emirati, identified as SMA, was killed early on Saturday morning, when his vehicle crashed on a road in Wadi Ghalila, north of Ras Al Khaimah.
Local media reports, quoting an informed source, said the police operations room received a call about a car crash in Wadi Ghalila.
Police patrols and the Civil Defence staff rushed to the spot to find that the driver already dead.
The vehicle was very badly damaged with evidence of after it having swerved and flipped over.
The body was taken to hospital to be handed over to relatives.
