Fake drugs promoted through social media

Sharjah Police has arrested two people for selling illegal slimming products through social networking sites.

Police said the arrested people also promoted adulterated cosmetics and medicines.

Police said these products were harmful to public health.

Sharjah Police urged the public not to deal with sellers of such fake products.

Police called on the public to report any illegal commercial activity on social networking sites.
