Filipina found hanging in Sharjah

A 24-year-old Filipina was found hanging near a house in Sharjah and police have began investigating the case, a newspaper said on Friday.

The woman, identified only as MF, was found hanging by a rope wrapped around her neck and tied to a tree in the back of a house in Nakhilat area on Thursday morning.

The semi-official daily Alittihad said her body was sent to the coroner to identify the cause of death while police are probing whether criminal act is involved.
