Football quarrel turns into sword fight in Sharjah

Two young men were injured in a mass fight involving sticks and swords following an argument during a football match in Sharjah.

Police rushed to the playfield near Alshaab sports club and rounded up most of those involved in the scuffle.

“Two suffered from injuries and were taken to hospital…police arrested the rest,” the Arabic language daily Emirat Alyoum said.
