Four held for molesting, beating girl

Abu Dhabi police arrested four men for molesting a girl at a restaurant before attacking and beating her and her brother. The four were later found to have taken drugs.

Newspapers said the girl and her brother were eating at a restaurant in the capital when the four began to make advances towards her.

When her brother tried to stop them, they attacked and beat him up. Medical examination later showed the girl was also hit.

A court which tried the four on charges of taking drugs, molestation and assault, adjourned hearings to November 17 after they denied molesting the girl.
