Girl killed by speeding woman driver in Sharjah

A 19-year-old Arab girl was killed when she was knocked over by a car driven by an Asian woman in Sharjah and police blamed speed for the accident.

The girl was crossing the Corniche road in the emirate when she was hit by that car, which also rammed into two other vehicles parked on the road.

“Initial investigation showed the accident by a result of speed and negligence,” said Major Khalid Al Kay, deputy director of the traffic media and guidance.
