Glass-smashing car burglar caught in Sharjah

Sharjah Police has arrested an Egyptian national on the charge of theft from parked vehicles.

The emirate’s Lake Police Station said the suspect used to smash glass windows of parked vehicles to steal their contents.

Police said the suspect, who has confessed to stealing, had been caught earlier for possession of narcotic substances.

Sharjah Police has advised owners not to park their vehicles in dimly-lit areas.
