A woman allegedly kept a keen eye on women who wore gold jewellery and were alone at home before sending two male accomplices to knock at their door and take the gold ornaments at knife point.

The gang of three robbers used to closely observe their potential victims to find out at what time they entered and left their homes to ensure that they were alone when they attacked.

The robberies happened in Jebel Ali in Dubai.

The men would hand over the gold jewellery to the woman who would to sell them and divide proceeds of the sale with the men.

Police confiscated some of the jewellery in the woman’s house and the knife in one of the men’s house. They admitted before investigators to forcibly entering other people’s houses and robbing them.

The Court is yet to specify a date for hearing the case.
