Goods worth Dh95,000 stolen from pilot’s house

Two people from Rwanda allegedly broke into an Emirati pilot’s house and stole goods worth about Dh95,000, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

HB, 26, and AM, 32, are accused of breaking into the victim’s villa and stealing jewellery, expensive watches, cameras and mobile phones and Dh850 in cash belonging to the maid.

Police found fingerprints of the accused in the house of the victim and confiscated some of the goods after arrested the burglars.

In another case, three visitors from Georgia are accused of breaking into a flat of an Indian businessman and stealing jewellery and other precious things. The accused were identified as RK, 25, KJ, 27, and KK, 35.

A Ukrainian woman, identified as ON, 39, is accused of possessing the stolen items.

RK was arrested in the Naif area and confessed to committing the theft. He revealed the identities of his partners in the theft who admitted to joining him in committing the crime.

The court adjourned both cases to April 22.
