A Nigerian guard allegedly attempted to import about 1kg of methamphetamine by hiding them in two small refrigerators, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
A police officer suspected a cargo consignment sent through a hotel in Sharjah to Australia carrying devices.
Ray checking proved that drugs were hidden in the consignment.
The officer informed the anti-narcotics department who opened the two refrigerators and found methamphetamine stuffed inside the doors.
Police arrested FO, 29, who had sent the consignment.
The court will reconvene on December 30.
