A 33-year-old Egyptian allegedly threatened to kill his wife on Facebook, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The wife, 29, Egyptian employee, WM, complained to the police that her husband had sent her messages on Facebook threatening to kill her on February 21.

Police questioned the husband MS who admitted to the crime.

The records did not mention why the husband threatened his wife.

The Court will give its sentence on May 13.
