The body of the Indian doctor, who was killed last week, will be flown to his hometown in Kerala on Wednesday evening.
He was allegedly murdered by his Pakistani patient.
The body is being preserved in the mortuary and will be embalmed at the mortuary in Sheikh Khalifa medical City at 4pm.
“The body of the doctor will be flown to India by the 9.40 Etihad Airways flight to Trivandrum,” one source told ‘Emirates24|7’.
Dr Rajan Daniel who worked in the Urology department at the Al Ahalya Hospital in Abu Dhabi was murdered by his patient on November 1.
The man was undergoing treatment at the hospital under the supervision of Dr Daniel.
Wife Geeta George and daughter Jinu will accompany the doctor’s body to his hometown in India. The burial is scheduled for Thursday.
