Indian falls to death from 28th floor

A 44-year-old Indian worker died after falling down from the 28th floor in a building under construction in Sharjah, according to police.

The incident took place on Wednesday when Karban bin Ismail plunged down while working on the top floors in the 29-storey building.

Police said Ismail was rushed to hospital by an ambulance in critical condition but died on the way. They said they have opened an investigation into the case.
