An Indian man died when he was knocked over by a car near the criminal investigation department in Fujairah after he used the wrong crossing.

The unnamed man had rushed into the road towards the town centre but was hit by a car whose driver could not avert the accident, said Colonel Ali Al Yamahi.

“The victim is in his 20s and he was running towards the other side through the wrong crossing,” he said.
