An Iranian woman has been accused of abusing and threatening to kill compatriot's son, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

On May 27, 2015, 36-year-old victim received a call from a woman who introduced herself as N.

"The caller asked me about my relationship with someone called Ahmad, who I later found out was her divorced husband.

"I told her that I do not have any relationship with such a man. She abused me and used inappropriate language. She then threatened to kill my son. I blocked her number but she didn't stop. She called my ex-husband and repeated the threat.

"The woman then called me from a different number, abused me, threatened to kill my son again, and even knew the school he attended. I got scared and arranged my father to pick him up from school. I then lodged a complaint with the police," said the victim.

Apparently, the accused was keeping surveillance on the victim and called her immediately after getting out of the police station and reprimanded her for lodging a complaint.

The accused was also seen waiting for the boy while returning from school.

However, the boy's father, who resides in the same building, reached him before the accused. He picked him up from the school bus while the accused was seen in the building vicinity, testified WI, victim’s friend.

The prosecution supplied the court with threatening messages sent from NA, 30, Iranian housewife.

The court will give verdict on July 31.
