Jobless men organised gambling game for public

Two jobless Bangladeshis allegedly organised a gambling game in a bus station in Al Rifaa area, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

Corporal Mohammed Mohsin testified that while he was patrolling with his colleague in Al Rifaa area, a Pakistani approached them and told them about people gambling at the bus station.

“Close to where he indicated, we saw a group of people. When they saw us, some managed to run away. Police arrested RAW,30 and MAA,33, who were organising a game using a cloth belt, a screw driver and an ironing table. Police confiscated Dh1085 found on the accused.

The accused confessed and the court adjourned the case for verdict.
