Essam Eisa Al Humaidan Attorney General of Dubai has ordered the detention of the accused arrested in the murder of Jordanian boy Obaida.
The public prosecutor investigating the case has formed an investigation team headed by Judge Yusuf Folaz with Dr. Ali Hosni, Chief Prosecutor and Ahmed Ibrahim Abdullah.
The team moved to the scene of the crime, inspected the corpse, with a pathologist assigned to prepare a detailed report.
Folaz said: "The accused has confessed to the crime, with the public prosecutor remanding him in custody, pending investigation.”
