Man drowns in Sharjah hotel swimming pool

A Kazakh man has drowned in the swimming pool of a hotel in Al Khan, Sharjah.

A.K. was said to be living with his family in the hotel at the time of the incident.

The hotel management informed Sharjah Police of the incident that occurred on Tuesday. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the man’s body, which has been taken to the police forensic laboratory.

An investigation has been launched.

According to reports, the hotel management said lifeguards tried to rescue the drowning man but he was already dead when they managed to pull him out.
