A criminal court in Abu Dhabi sentenced an expatriate man to 12 years in prison for raping an Asian woman and forcing her to have sex with other men for money.
The court gave the defendant five years for rape and seven years for locking the woman up and engaging in human trade by forcing her to sleep with many other men.
It also ordered the deportation of the unnamed man although he denied the charges and said he had sex with the woman with her consent.
