Sharjah Police has arrested a Pakistani national for premeditated murder of his sister’s husband in the emirate’s Al Musalla area.
His partner-in-crime, the woman’s ex-husband, escaped to Pakistan.
The two men arrived from Pakistan with the intention of killing the victim and returning home.
Police said family disputes seem to be cause of the murder.
The woman told police that her ex-husband and brother had earlier threatened to kill her.
The woman’s brother was arrested at Sharjah Airport while trying to leave the country.
He has confessed to planning with the woman’s ex-husband to visit the UAE to murder her current husband and return home.
