Man murdered by friends in his room after brawl

The Operating Room received information about the incident at about 10.30pm and police officials discovered the body in one of the rooms in the workers’ accommodation, according to the Public Prosecution in Dubai.

As per initial investigations, the victim was consuming alcohol along with his friends in his room when they had a fight and one of his friends stabbed him and fled.

One person was arrested immediately as he was found hiding among trees nearby. The other three men were arrested later.

According to the Public Prosecution the culprit has confessed to the crime.

All four are facing charges of premeditated murder and consuming alcohol.
