Man on trial for stealing 'wash on line'
An Asian man is standing trial in Ras Al Khaimah on charges of stealing the wash hung on a line at a neighbouring house “under the cover of night.”
The court set March 11 for issuing its sentence after the defendant confessed to robbing the washing line of his Asian neighbors.
The man was arrested early this month after an Asian woman reported that her neighbor sneaked into her house “under the cover of night” and stole washed clothes hung on her line, the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said.
