Abu Dhabi airport customs authorities arrested an Asian man who tried to smuggle nearly 2.6 kg of drugs into the UAE.
Customs men had suspected the confused passenger as he arrived at the airport from an Asian country and told him to open his bag.
“They found a plastic bag containing white powder which was found to be a sort of narcotics…he told them he knows about it and was ordered to hand the stuff to a man in Dubai,” the Arabic language daily Alittihad said.
