Missing Dh3,000: Teen threatens to kill parents

A 19-year-old jobless youth threatened to kill his father, mother and brothers with a chopper that he was holding in his hand if the Dh3,000 that was missing from his room, was not returned to him, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The father, MJ, 50, had to call the police when his enraged son came to him and threatened to kill the family members, destroy their cars and the doors of the house if they did not return the money that went missing from his room.

A cousin of the accused who is a policeman rushed to the house and heard OM threatening his family members while holding a chopper in his hand.

The Court will give its sentence on March 10.
